After decades dedicated to the fitness industry, Bryan Sibbach and wife Patty Wallace-Sibbach realized the average gym, even when charging upscale prices, was not meeting the needs of its clientele. To these dedicated professionals, the shortcomings were blatantly obvious: club members left to their own devices, struggling with equipment they didn’t know how to use properly; overcrowded classes where members would sink or swim with one-size-fits-all workouts; and disinterested personal trainers who were too poorly trained to even know how to help their clients. Too often, the member’s outcome was stunted progress, injury, and discouragement. But, since the members were locked into a contract, management didn’t seem to care.
